If the father of my son signs over parental rightcan he still pay child supports

I need to know if he can sign over parental rights to me can i still file for child support and what do i do if he denies being the father

He will still have to pay child support even if he does sign over his rights so dont anybody tell you he doesnt have to

Well thats for a attorny to answer but i would think if you sign over parental rights there no obligations any longer

If you are filing for sole custody then he would still pay support to you. If he disagrees he is the father, he still has to pay support. Unless he asks for a paternity test and it comes back he isnt the father of course. paternity can cost $400., but there are places or courts will lower costs for lower income.
