Is it costly to have my tubes untied?

I'v had my tubes tied for 7 years and would like to have them un tied as now I am ready to have a child but would like to know is it costly? and would I have to miss any work do to haveing this done?

Typically the surgery costs about $5k, but you can check to see if your insurance will cover some of the cost. It is a major surgery so you would probably be out of work at least a week. If you are considering it, definatly talk to your physician! Good luck!

I knew someone with this problem a few years ago. And I think they came up with a great solution. They adopted a baby girl (3 months old). Mamma didn't have to have surgury and a needy baby got a good home!
Along with the cost, getting a tubal reversed is a major surgery.
Since it cost's money either way I would suggest considering all options before making a decision.

Yes it is expensive, it costs about 5,00 0depending on where youare and who you go to. It is well worth it though!
