Is there something I can to in order to stop paying child support for a kid that is not mines?

My girlfriend and I broke up and she had another affair with someone else during the break up. We got back together and she told me she was pregnant, so I thought the child was mines and by doing the right thing I signed the birth certificate. I decided to have a blood test done and it was not mines, Now I have to pay child support. Is there any way I can get out of this?

If all you have is a blood test, and they did not test the DNA then you will need to have that done before the courts will remove you from any liability. Then you will need to get a lawyer and go before the courts to have your name removed from the birth certificate and to release you from any liability. Hope this helps, Susu

You made a big mistake when you signed the birt certificate the law is before you sign you can have a parenty test taken but if you sign the birth certificate then you are legally bound for child support you have stated by law that you have exspected the responiably of this child. That is so sad this has happened the only other thing you can do legally is if you can get her to let you sign off your rights and then you don't have to pay child support. Hopefully she will do the right thing and not make you pay the rest of your life.

The courts will not let someone sign away their parental rights to absolve them from paying child support. If however you prove with DNA that the child is not yours you can get the courts to remove you from the birth certificate and release you from paying the child support. Otherwose, if she proves the other guy as the father, and gets child support from him then she is double dipping. So get a DNA test and a lawyer. Good luck, Susu

Go to court and ask the judge to order a DNA paternity test. It will prove that you either are or are not the father.
