I would call her primary care doctor before spending hours in the ER if that is not an option you can call the ER at your local hospital and ask to speak with a nurse.

I love to share my baby secrets no one has told me - look into urgent care units. They don't deal with life and death situations so you are higher on the triage, but they take walk-ins and are not any more expensive than the ER if you have insurance. Plus you won't take your baby in with quit as many sick people!

I agree, you should call your pediatrician to see what they think. Is that rectal temp? Sometimes the ear once don't work well so you should try the old-fashioned way.

Normal body temperature for a healthy baby is between 97 and 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit (36 to 38 degrees Celsius). Some people do run a lower body temp normaly, but anything under 95 degrees Fahrenheit is considered hypothermic and life threatening, please go to the Emergency Room, or your doctor right away.

No, for a baby of her age...this is normal. If it gets too high up in the hundreds then she would need to see a doctor, but this is completley normal.
