My 10 mo. old daughter doesn't want her formula.

My daughter normally takes 4 6 oz. bottles of Isomil Similac a day. For the past 3 days, she only will take it before bedtime and when she wakes up. During the day she doesn't want it and will just eat her required baby foods. Should I try to switch her formula to regular Similac advance? I don't know what to do and I want her to get all her nutrients she needs.

You might try switching to Enfamil, my kids preferred that over Similac.

At 10 months old she should be fine with only 2 bottle's a day as long as you are giving her iron fortified cerial and lots of fruits and veggies durring the day. The cerial is a good substitute for formula. Have you tried giving formula in a cup? Maybe she is just tired of the bottle itself. It could be just a phase too. At that age they are deciding their likes and dislikes. More than likely by next week she'll be wanting it back. As long as she is acting healthy and gaining weight I wouldn't worry.

Children need ever-changing amounts of food, influenced by their activity level and developmental phase, the air temperature and relative humidity, and perhaps by a virus they might have.

10 - 15 oz of formula daily is average for a 10 month old. As long as she continues to thrive, I wouldn't worry.

She is eating iron fort. cereals, fruits, vegs, and loves baby yogurt. Also, 3 weeks ago I went back to work and she goes to my best friends house for 8 hrs. Could it be she is acting out since I am not home with her?

I could defiantly see that being away from you has caused change in this situation. She sounds like she is getting plenty. As long as she has wet and dirty diapers everyday you know that she is getting enough in her system.

As long as she is eating the food you give her she will get enough nutrition. She is just letting you know that she is ready to move on. Just go with it and save the money.
