I have some symptoms, tender breats tiredness etc. I went to the doctors last week and had a negative urine test. Yesterday I did two pregnancy tests one faint positive and the other negative? Has this happened to anyone else? Has anyone had negative tests then found out they actually were pregnant?

This same situation happened w/ my aunt & turns out she was indeed pregnant. it could be that the pregnancy hormone isnt really high so the test may not pick it up. Schedule another appointment just to be sure & tell them that a home pregnancy test had a faint positive.

Many women test negative to have a new test turn positive days later. HCG (the pregnancy hormone) doubles every three days. Pregnancy tests all test at different levels of hcg in urine. If you have gotten a positive on a test... even a light line... then the hormone is there. Let your doctor know and then they can decide whether to do another test in office or send you for blood work which will tell the true story and an exact level of hcg hormone.
