RH factor

I am 28 weeks pregnant. Yesterday i received an RH shot. Howerever after i returned i began to question getting the shot. I do not recall having it during my first pregancy. My records indicate that i am an O+ blood type so can i even be Rh-? So my full question is did i need the shot and if not does it put me or my baby in danger secondary to receiving it?

It wont put the baby in danger, it just seems as if you didn't need it. I am O- so I had to have the shot as well. You should contact your doctor and let them know and see if it was a misunderstanding or if there was some reason they gave you the shot. Either way - don't worry, the shot wont do any damage other than the sore welt on your butt!
