Should there be discomfort after eating 6 days after plyoric surgery?

Should a baby of 5 weeks after having pyloric stenosis surgery 6 days ago, still have discomfort after breast feeding for about 45 minutes?

Most of the time after a pyloromyotomy infants will go back to a normal schedule after a few days. If your baby still has discomfort after eating, you will definatly want to consult your pediatrician as there may just be inflammation of the stomach or GERD which is common in babies that age as well.
