Suprising things you've learned from being a parent?

I always love these and maybe expecting parents can learn a thing or two.

One thing that I've learned is that the littlest things are reasons to celebrate. My 8-month-old just started sticking her tongue out this morning and I had to call the grandparents, show dad, take some pictures. Something so small can be really big and make your whole day!

Isn't celebrating the little things something you should do in your own life too? not just something you learned from being a parent?

From 0 to talking you appriciate all the little things, from talking to 5 you appriciate the quiet moments, from 5 to 10 you appriciate their school, from 10 to 15 you hate their school (you are stupid now) from 15 to 18 you appriciate any moment they decide to share with you, and at 18 you just pray you appriciated enough LOL

Learn to celebrate because each age has its pluses and minuses. You just don't know it until you go through it. Each age brings moments to celebrate. There is always joy....

You know it is worth celebrating. Wait till she gets older and does more surprising things. Say bring home straight As on her report card. They are truly wonderful gifts from God. Keep on celebrating those things. They will remember those.
