Ultrasound measurement

I had an ultrasound done on Friday. The tech said the baby measured 8 weeks. Does this mean the baby is 8 weeks? Am I 8 or 10 weeks pregnant?

You are 8 week pregnant :) Any time they do measurements, the centimeters correlate with the number of weeks, such as if you go in and they say you measure out 20 cm...you SHOULD be 20 weeks (of course theres always room for error, such as fetal position, and slow or rapid growth)

Did she use a measuring tape on your belly, it is not always accurate becuz the baby can be in dif position. I worried for a month cuz tech said baby was not at right measurement, only to find out next month, baby was at right measurement & all was well.
