What happened here

Am a bit confused, i had my baby on the 22nd march 2007. my last mentruation was on 14th july 2006. around the 14 th august 2006 i had slight stains and no mensturation. doctor said i had symptoms of abortion. that means i had like a month pregnant since my last period was only the month before. i dont understand why my baby was born march 22nd. could it be that i had my menstruation during my first month of pregnancy. could this be? am worried cause that might really throw my off as to know who is my baby's daddy.

Well, luckily, they have release today the $29.99 at home paternity test. Call your local store and see if they have the test.

It is possible to have your period while you are pregnant. If you're baby was born a month early, most of the time you would know. How big was the baby?

The ultrasounds were going match with my last period. evrything seemed to be going ok until around the third month when a difference occured. the ultrasound started to show an older baby by 2 weeks. i was really confused on how old was my baby. the last ultrasound showed my baby to be due the 4 april and he was born the following week after i did that ultrasound (13 march).

What did your earliest ultrasound say? When I was pregnant, I was told that before about 10 weeks is when they estimate the due date because after that it's really hard to say when the due date is. In those early stages, there are distinguishing developments that allow them to date the baby. When was your very first ultrasound?

If you had your baby march 22, 2007 (little confused now cause first you said 22nd and then you say 13th?!), you had to have gotten pregnant in June 2006 (my son has the same b-day, but different year). It is also possible that you were really pregnent with twins and lost one of them and that time frame, therefore you would see a slight change in the baby on the ultra sound, because that baby would now be getting all the nutrients instead of sharing them with another. I would bet that after that change, at some point the changes leveled off and the baby was on schedule.

OMG! could it have been that i could have had twins. but why, since when my period was due july it came down. ended the 14th. then on august 14th it was due again but it only came with stains and when i went to the doctor like a week after, i was told that i was more than likely having a miscarriage. i took some pill she gave me and i was all fine. i didnt have lot o fbleeding in august. only in july like my real period. am getting more confused now.

The best ultrasound to go by is your 18-20 week one. Whatever that one said will be the closest to your due date/conception date. Thats why they use that ultrasound to evaluate the fetus. :)

It had to still be 9 months before you gave birth.

if you aren't sure, i'd do a DNA test on the possible fathers if there is more then one.

Anywhere from 36-40 weeks is considered full term which loosely translates into 9-10 months. That being said, it is possible to have a period during pregnancy, although very rare. There is also something called implantation bleeding, which is like a scant, light period. The only way to ascertain if you had an abortion would have been for your doctor to have done hCG levels after that pregnancy. What other symptoms did you have that lead him to say you had symptoms of an abortion? Were you cramping heavily, or had heavy bleeding prior to the slight stains? If not, that doesn't make sense. Either way, you are going to most likely have to have a paternity test. It would have been helpful to know the weight and length of the baby because that can say alot about approximate gestational age at birth. This would only be a guess however, as some babies are naturally small at 40 weeks and some babies can be farly large at 35-36 weeks. Good luck. Susu

Hey I dont know if this will help but I hope it will. Your last period was july 14th 2006 right ok you where fertile on :july 25th-29th your most fertile day was the 28th the day you egg dropped to be fertilized and such. The implantion probably occured around august the 4th your period was due august the 11th you probably just hade left over old blood to get ride of or implanation bleeding and where it was the first month of pregancie you might of been trying to lose your baby but didnt and as for having your baby ealy it happens to alote of people ealy births sometimes the size of the baby will affect you ahving it early. Um as for the babys daddy thing um I would sit and think Of when you hade intercourse with each man of that month and see if any of those days lands anywhere around 25th -29th or before that and I would just go have a blood test done if you are still confused on that but I say that is why you hade the problem the 14th your body was just adjusting to the change and getten ready I hope this helps you out some
