Would it be okay if I refuse antibiotics during my labor?

I just tested positive as a carrier of Group B and understand there is a risk of passing it on to my baby. However, I would rather not take antibiotics during labor. What is the risk?
Thank you.

Oh I hope that I can convince you otherwise. I have a one-year-old and they are just so helpless and need you to be their advocate and protect them and you will regret it if you refuse the antibiotics. It can cause retardation and death if the baby comes into contact with it and you have the power to completely illuminate that risk. If you are a first time mom, you just can't imagine how much you will like this baby and want to protect them!

It's a simple IV and you won't even know that it is there, but it more than likely will save your babies life. If your baby is exposed to the bacteria your baby can get sepis, pneumonia or meingistis. All of which can lead to death. It's a very serious condition for a newborn.

Here is some more information:

Is there any reason you don't want the antibiotics? I know some people believe (and rightfully so) that antibiotics are abused and can create untreatable strains someday, but if you ever make an exception - this is the time.
