Birth Control

All birthcontrolls have a risk of weight gain! The one I can tell you made everyone I know gain weight really bad is the depo shot. Dont get it! I gained 30lbs and had a 6 month long period. My friends had the weight gain problem but did not have a period with it. Pills have made some so my friends gain weight too. I was on the NOVA ring and it was good for me and I think its like $40 a month if you dont have insurance.Its just a little wierd trying to figure out exactly where it goes at first but it get easier each time... When i was 15 i startred on Ortho Tricyclin. i did not gain any weight at all.. but different pills affect different people in different ways. i was on ortho evera patch a couple months ago and seemed to gain a couple pounds so got off and am now on ortho tricyclin low.. i recomend this because it makes your periods lighter and shorter... :) good luck

Yaz is awesome! It reduced water weight and even clears up your skin, i was on it for a year and didnt gain anything. but everyone is diff. I would not recomind the shot. From what i hear it always causes weight gain. Im not sure how much Yaz would cost though. I would think the shot would be cheapest.
