Pregnant?

I had a period last month on the 26th of Aug. and its lasted 5 day like always. Now its oct.4th and still no period no cramps or anything my period is 8 days late from the 26th. My breast were also extra tender in Aug also I too. Could I have to normal periods and then be late the next month and be pregnant?

You could very well be pregnant. Not all women have a light period on the first month of pregnancy, some do just like you and have no signs of period at all. After being 8 days late, it is not too soon to go get a pregnancy test, and self test. If it comes out positive, you can go ahead and make your first ob/gyn appointment. If it comes out negative, do not panick. Some women will just skip a period in times of extreme stress.

I took a test Friday the 2nd and it was negative. I don't think I was stressing hard enough to miss my period its never happend before. I can't look for signs of being preg. Because I'm alway sleepy and I always have to pee all the time so its confusing

Sometimes we can be under extreme stress and not realize it. But our body does. I work in a very stressful job. I didn't realize how stressful until i broke out into a rash.

One question for you. Are you a runner? Do you jog almost everyday? The reason that I ask this is because alot of womes who run on a regular basis will eventually have problems with their periods. Some of them stop having them all together.

18. If you run so much that your periods become light or non-existent, you may be endangering your bones. Amenorrhoea (lack of a monthly period) means that little or no oestrogen, essential for the replacement of bone minerals, is circulating in your body. Amenhorroeic women can stop, but not reverse, the damage by taking oestrogen and getting plenty of calcium. If your periods are infrequent or absent, consult a gynaecologist, preferably one sensitive to the needs of runners.
