6 yr. old's hair not growing

I have a girl age 6 who's hair is the same lenght as it was 2 yrs. ago. Other girls her age have hair that is more than twice as long. She is beginning to get self- consious about it.

Is she eating well? Getting enough calcium and vitamins? Drinking enough water? eating enough?

If she isn't taking vitamins you could start giving those to her to see if they help.

Don't worry dear! EVERYONES hair is different. Stress to her how important it is to love herself just the way she is. As a parent, you can instill that in her, and she'll keep it with her forever.

I always say, "If your one of the few people in the world, lucky enough to be different, cherish that."
And, its so true!

Some kids hair just doesn't grow as fast as others. Her hair will grow in time.
