I am assuming from you other post that you are not talking about vision correction like Lasik, but somthing to make you look more asian right? Have you tried using makeup instead of surgery? Sometimes something as simple as eyeliner can make eyes look more narrow. Or the way you apply eyeshadow. Typically, some sort of pull is established at the Lateral Canthus (outer edge of the eye). Surgery like this is not typically recommended because of the strain it puts on the lid itself. Sometimes you can develop problems with your tearducts because of increased pressure on them from the pull. Also, you aren't changing the shape of your eyeball, so your ability to blink, and to keep foreign objects out (or remove them) is decreased. You may also experience numbness or even paralysis from nerve damage. If you still feel as though you really have to do this, then contact a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in eyelid surgeries for a consultation. Good luck. Susu
