Teh type of models they are lookin for right now seem to have a unique features that make them stand out. Wear whatever outfit you have that makes you feel that if you were to walk into a room, everyone would stop and take notice. That one outfit that makes you feel your most confident, and accents your best features. This is same with your hairstyle. Some people can throw their hair up into a clip with the hair all spiking out and it works for them. Maybe it elongates their face, or makes their eyes stand out, but whatever it is, that's what you want. Some people however look like they just got out of bed and were in a rush and it looks bad. If that toussled bedhead looks good and sexy on you, then do that. Find your best hairstyle and go with it. Again it is about projecting confidence. Don't be cocky though, beautiful women are a dime a dozen and even if you are the most beautiful woman in the world, attitude can make you seem ugly. Photogs don't want to work with primadonnas. As for make-up, less is more. Let them see your natural beauty, using pale eyeshadows, line your lips with a natural shade, and then use matching gloss. Apply a little blush just below the cheekbones, not on them, to give your cheeks more definition through shadowing. It shouldn't look like you have on makeup though. They already know what a face full of makeup on you will look like. When you do subtle makeup, then they get a better idea of your potential because they can visualize several different styles of makeup on you. Too much makeup can be a deal breaker. Get plenty of rest the night before. Eat a light snack on call day. Do not try to starve yourself prior to then to make yourself lose a couple of pounds, because if you do you may find yourself tired and irritable. Good luck! Hope to see you on Vogue someday.
