Well if she's getting married in Hawaii then I think you already have a theme. Same goes for her bachlorette party. I'm assuming you will be helping throw that as well. :)

For the bridal shower you could ask people to dress up in a hawaiian theme. Shirts, grass skirts etc, Feature food and drink common to the area. Pineapple juice with coconut rum and a little curacao makes a great cocktail. A pork dish or hawaiian inspired food.

Plumeria is a flower that is native to hawaii. It's also a lovely scent. http://www.hawaiianphotos.net/images/F-07%20Plumeria%20Web-LG.jpg

Shell lei's or flower ones. I think you can get them cheap at a party store.

Kona Coffee if your not alcoholic drinkers. It's a bit on the expensive side but I think you can find a small bag of beans or maybe a small bag of grinded coffee for a decent price.

The hibiscus flower is Hawaii's state flower.

I'm a big fan of macadamia nut cookies. You could make them or get a cookie platter from a place. Publix, Natures Table, Subway, offer cookie platters and I'm pretty sure macadamia nut is one of the choices.

You could set up tiki torches, or dress up the place with raffia that looks like grass thatch. Or make grass skirts from the raffia.

You can use raffia as bows on presents as well.

You can make centerpieces for a table or tables using Hawaiian fruit ,a hula girl, flowers, shells tiki's.

Check around and see if you can find a few tiki head glasses. A party store may have something like this as well.

Create Pineapple Boats from fresh pineapples from Hawaii. Take a whole pineapple with the skin and top still on and cut it in half lengthwise. Scoop/cut out the pineapple meat leaving the skin and top. Then fill each pineapple half with the pineapple pieces and other fruits like sliced banana, apples slices, grapes, strawberries, etc.

You could find some hawaiian music as well.

oh and don't forget to have fun :) !
