This depends on how old you are and what state you live in. If you are under 18 and not pregnant, some states require that you have parental consent. To get a marriage license, you need to go with your fiance to the county clerks office (except in Louisiana it is called a Parish courthouse) and be ready to pay a fee. These range from state to state but are generally around $35-$40. You can call the courthouse prior to going and they will tell you how much. You will need copies of each persons SS card, DL or state ID or birth certificate. Also, some states require that you go to the health department for blood tests. There is typically a 3 day waiting period before you can get married. Ask the county/parish clerk to let you know.
Good luck, Susu
