Any inventors in the house?
Have you ever had a great idea that you tell all of your friends about, but don't do anything to make it happen and then you see it or something similar on tv or in the news and it made the inventors tons of money.
I'm in the web business, so I see it ALL THE TIME with sites, but did you invent the clapper or the thigh master before someone else got it? What was your idea?

Years and years ago, back in middle school. me and mostly my friend came up with an idea to do tubes into tubes to make collapsible crutches for a invention thingy we had to do.
he ran with it for a while but nothing ever happened because of liability of what if they broke while someone was using them.
then about 4-5 years ago, i saw this same concept, but in luggage for the pull out handle.
same idea. different application. it had been years and years since I thought about that when I saw that luggage the first time

I do not have my invention done. It is simply an idea. How do I go about presenting it to a company without the patent? How do I make sure if they use my idea I get compensated for it?
