Bill payment

I owe my dentist $50.00 is it legal to pay in pennies and if so do they have to be rolled? i tried to send them some of the 50 in a check but they sent my check back ,said payment had to be in full. so id like to pay them in pennies

Yes you can pay your bill using pennies but they dont have to accept them if they arent rolled....but why would you want to pay for a service you received all in loose pennies?why not just take the pennies to the bank and cash them in and then go pay the bill?
