Do you have your contract handy? Did you sign a contract? does it say the company (buddy's) will / may automatically charge your debit card?
from a 1,000 foot level, it seems you may not have any recourse, especially considering you are still using the services of their company.
Pull out your contract and read it . . . what does it say regarding billing / paying, etc?

CAN A COMPANY THAT TAKES WEEKLY PAMENTS RUN YOUR DEBIT CARD WITH OUT YOU PERMISSION IF THEY HAVE YOUR CARD ON FILE?
WE HAVE A FURNITURE FROM BUDDY'S HOME FURNISHING A RENT TO OWN COMPANY.THEY HAVE MY DEBIT CARD ON FILE THAT IS HOW I NORMALLY PAY .BUT I CALL AND GIVE THEM APPROVAL AND THEY GIVE ME A CONFERMATION NUMBER.THIS WEEK THEY RAN IT WITH OUT MY SAY AND I WONDERED IF I HAD ANY RECOURSE BECAUSE IT MAY INTERFEAR WITH MY OTHER BILLS.
