Can an employer imposes a pay suspension for employee violating company rules

Can an employer impose unpaid suspensions for employee violation of company rules?

Yes they can give you unpaid time off. Basically it is called unpaid leave. Trust me it is better than the option of being fired. You can alway file a labor complaint but they are going to tell you, You are given an un paid leave then it is legal. Note that they can not require you to come in and work for no pay.

Good luck and do something productive or very entertaining while you are out. This will be mental R & R for you.
