A company I use to work for tried to get my insurance started early because my shoulder was bothering me (not work related). So i starting going to a chiropractor for about 3 mths or so, I was paying the $10 co-pays. I stopped going cause it was feeling better. About 4 yrs. later they sent me a bill saying i had to pay this amount and now 7 yrs later they turned it into the insurance company that i had at that time.

So did you have insurance at the time you started going to the chiropractor?

Maybe you weren't actually covered and thats why they are trying to collect the money. Not sure why it took so long.

Did you save your receipts you got from your visits to show you paid? It is always a good thing to keep those.
