Client satisfaction is a big one as is management style and openess. Any place you get great loyalty out of your employees while performing well financially is a good bet in my book.

I agree with Mtnrescue. Of course you need the finances to fund everything, but clients should be happy, you should be creating, building, performing at your best and it should be a place that people want to work at and get excited to come to work. I think another issue is ethics. A business should be ethical in every aspect in order to be successful - anyone can cheat and get ahead. Doing it the right way, that's what companies can be proud of!
