I would like to know the answer as well, they have offered me a job as well. Can anyone confirm this company?
Yes. I just started. It's real, they need checking accounts cause they do direct deposit only. Pretty much you wait for clients to accept a proposal, then your their personal 'go between' from them to IT. It's not a 'work at home' it's a 'work from home'. You have to fill out an app, sign papers, fill out a W-4, it's a real job. you just have to sit, and be available online from your daily hours in case, so you can respond quick to the customer so they get personal attention.
www.webbuildersintl.com check em out. Office is outta Burbank, CA, you can find them on the California Better Business Beauru, there's not complaints or anything, and it even registers their address.
I have also started to work for them and have been for about 7 days now seems pretty legit...would hate for it to be a scam
@ Dan...Have you had any job details that would make you think its a scam?
No I haven't. It's just real boring. The client account I'm supposed to be working for and have the information on just keeps playing the 'I don't know..' game and making tiny changes then not getting back. I have their proposals, all that stuff. And Human Resources calls me, just tells me 'I know, it's boring, I'm waiting on them too, hang in there'. Makes the day drag, especially when I start at 9, it's 6am in Cali, so unless I get the client approval and if he has a question I can find on his timetable, I'm dead in the water for about 3 hours.
So I just stay on the dashboard and wait, send a few messages that I'm still here and alert and waiting. I hate getting paid for doing nothing, it makes a long day.
Yes i too have a proposal and Im still waiting on the client to approve it so we can move forward. I hate sitting by the computer too with nothing to do...I dont see a company going through this much trouble for it not to be legit though.
My wife just started working for them, This is the first person I have seen so far that has actually said they work for them too. My main question is has anyone actually gotten paid by them? It takes them days to get back to her when she calls and "Emily" sounds foreign (which is not uncommon for California). I quit my job to take care of the kids while she "works" but day two into this and I am already feeling a bit nervous. Emily assured my wife that everything is fine and she just needs to wait for a new client.
Well I was very nervous also but i have done some research on the business and found out as much as i could. And so far nothing negative.I mean there is not a lot on the company at all,but i havent been paid yet.but i havent been asked to transfer money or anything either and if thats what they were really trying to do one of us would have done it by now
