How do I split up an LLC partnership?

I own 51% of an LLC courier company, I am disatisfied with my partner who owns 49% of the company. If I would have known some things that my partner kept hidden from me I would have never started this business with him. I want to end this partnership by either buying him out (but I am affraid he wont sell) I have told him to buy me out but he doesnt want that either. I need a way to get what I have invested in back out and start a new business on my own please help.
