How do you write an ebook?

If you have already written and edited your ebook and you have it in it's final form ready to be released, there are several options available to you to market your book.

There are sites like Clickbank that you can submit your ebook to, who will handle the marketing for you but you will have to share the profits from each sale with them and their army of affiliates. Clickbank has a huge number of affiliates that will promote your book so you stand a good chance of getting the most sales with this method. Having many people market your book all over the internet will give you the most exposure and hopefully the most sales. They take care of taking payments and downloads and you just collect your share of the profits.

You can also submit your ebook to the biggest online marketer of all, Amazon. Just go to their site and scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Self-publish with Us" link for information on how to do it. You will also have to share sales revenue with them but having your book on a huge marketer's site like Amazon would eliminate a lot of the headaches of trying to market it yourself.

If you don't like the idea of sharing the profits for your hard work though, you can always start your own website and market your ebook yourself directly. It would entail some investment though as you would need a complete marketing site capable of making the book available for download, accepting payments online, tracking sales, storing customer information, etc. You would need to have your own domain name registered and have a website designed, built and maintained. You would be able to keep the entire amount from every sale though.
