V2 had no drivers license or insurance. does not mean they were at fault , it was the move that made the accident happen. i had this happen to me one time, and i was charged with a chargeable accident by the trucking, co. ok heres what the trucking co. explained to me , if i have a green light , and i go thur it, and a car hits me , even if they have the red, could i have forseen the car not slowing down , and me stopping before the car hit me , they said it was chargeable to me , not the road laws but the company law, even tho i had the right of way , and was in the right, i should have been more alert to the fact of the other car, so they were correct in their, terminating you , in their eyes , and we cantdo a thing about it, hope this helps,

Is termination legal/correct ?
I was bobtailing to the terminal waiting in traffic for light to change and attempting to make lane change, the light changed and traffic in front of me moved thru the intersection, as I began to move and make a safe lane change I struck vehicle 2 with my passenger side front tire. police were called and I was issued no tickett because V2 had no drivers license or insurance. Iwaited for company insurance person to show up, told him facts a continued to the terminal. I need to know if the company was justified in terminating me for the accindent seeing how in my eyes the accident was was not charged to me by the police the state or DOT. Help me determine the truth and give me some options my home state is Illinois DOT is national,THANK YOU ALL.

Well this is why they get cheaper ins, rates , they will screw the driver evey time ! if they can to appease the ins, co, i dont like it , and it looks bad on the driver , but we are a expendable comd, and they dont care, for the driver , just hire another driver , our lawyers will take care of this,
