My question is about vacation time owed to me by the company i work for.
I have vaction time that the company i work for owes me at this time. As of yesterday the company decided that they have a new policy that they want to start 1/1/09. I was informed yesterday 8/27/08 that i have no vaction time at this time due to the company deleted all hours owed to employes due to mis management of company money and a change in company policy. I want to know if this company is allowed to take vacation timed that has already been earned by their employes. The company also stopped me from using time that was owed to me before notice of lose of vaction time and charge my next years vaction time for the last day that i was allowed to use. Is this a legal move by the company?
