Problems with our baby no one can diagnose

He has a gag response when we try to give him food, and no appitite. Every night he has cold sweats and sleeps very little. He is grinding his teeth at night also. His total weight is now is 19 pounds, it was 22 pounds 6 days ago. He is 18 months old. Twelve days ago when this all started he had diahoria, a cold and fever. After 6 days it turned into these conditions where the problems seem to be confined to the night time. We are in Costa Rica and medical care is sub parr to say the least. Thank you so much for your attention. Albert ans Julia

I'm so sorry I can't imagine what that must be like!

Have they rules out any sort of parasite? Here are the typical symptoms of parasites, but there are so many, but testing the blood and the stool they may be able to find something.

diarrhea or diarrhea alternating with constipation
nausea
cramps
dizziness
vomiting
fowl-smelling gas
indigestion
bloating
loss of appetite
weakness and fatigue
itching around anus (indicating pinworms)
restlessness and dificulty sleeping
weightloss
itching on feet
fever followed by loss of appetite

According to Dr. Ross Anderson, parasites are one of the most undiagnosed health challenges in the U.S. so I'm sure if the health care is sub par then perhaps that could be it.
