There are small business grants that the state puts together that you can look into. I don't know what state you are in, but here is a link that will take you to a list of states. Choose from that list and it will take you to the state site that deals with small business grants.

Small Business Help
I recently opned a business in a small town. It is not going so well yet. My business involves water and ice so im hoping to hold on till the summer. Is there any place I can go to get a grant for assistance before i try to get a loan if not what is the best option in the loan area. Please help

Check with your local small business association if they have one. They are always willing to help out new businesses. The Chamber of Commerce may be able to help you out too. Some local colleges also have programs to help out too. Your local bank may even help you out if they specialize in small business loans.
