I would like to know what kind of businesses would be great money making during this recession?

I heard that small businesses owned by foreign persons are exempt from paying income tax for ten years? Just before this time period is over they give the business to a family member so the ten year period restarts....

I am planning a fundraiser for a sick family member and I would like businesses to donate gift certificates, etc. What steps do I need to take in order to attain tax exempt forms to provide the donators?
