Taxing Covered Parking at Apartment Community

Has there been a new state law stating that all Texas Apartment Communities have to tax covered parking? For example, if we charge separately for rent and covered parking, do we have to show on the lease contract that we are taxing the residents for parking. If so, would the tax rate be the same rate for our city tax?
