Chimney liner removal

What is the best way to remove a tile liner from an eighteen foot high chimney and replace it with a rigid, insulated pipe?

Why would you remove it isn't it larger than the insulpipe you are using leaving it would give better support and insulation seems to me all you need to do is run pipe and cap it but if you must remove it and itis cemented to chimney you would probably have to tear it all down

The tile is 8 inches on the outside. The 6 inch insulated pipe is 8 inches outside. Any more questions?

Is the present chimney damaged and if not cant the new fire box be tied into it ===you might check with a local mason they may have a better option

Tile liner is cracked, fourth tile down, unusable the way it is. Plus it has clearance problems. The insulated pipe is the only way to correct both problems.
