Conduit derating factor

In electrical derating of more than 6 current carring condutors what is the derating our we derating for greatter conduit size or larger wire size. the problem is a conduit of 3/4 emt has 7 conductors with each having its on neutral. the contractor involved dropped one neutral and said derating factor was satisfied. ive listend to sevral different explanations on the correct way to do this what the correct derrating solution

For de rating these circuits, if you are using #12 THHN wire you would have to put them on a 15amp breakers instead of a 20amp breakers. Or pull in #10 THHN wire if you need to have 20amp circuits.

In the 2008 NEC 310.15(B)(4)(a)A neutral conductor that carries only the unbalanced current from other conductors of the same circuit shall not be required to be counted when applying the provisions of 310.15(B)(2)(a). 310.15(B)(2)(a) being, Ajustment factors for more than three current carring conductors in a raceway or cable.
