I have a Clark Model C500 50 forklift the right brake sticks after sitting a while.

It has been breaking lose after rocking it back and forth but now after sitting a few months I can't get it to break free.

Forward contact sticks on clark electric forklift.

The forward contact welds closed on the lift. The release spring is the same strength as the reverse. The contacts are new. It current arcing does seem more than reverse.
