Stove pipe install into org.brick 1913 chimmey. Utah, double, triple or what?

Earth stove (1978/80) installing into back side of existing brick chimmey of old wood/coal kitchen stove. What is required in the house side from back of stove up 5 feet to plastered brick chimmey, then into chimmey up and out to roof. Code here though i could no longer use existing chimmey, but would have to install pipe though it. But they also stated you need really need to follow manufactured recamendations. Note the existing chimmey is about 7'3" from floor,8" discharge back of stove. I have been in the attic and there no missing morter from the chimmey. A little cerasote inside of it, most has fallen down which a have vacumed out on kitchen side where there is a cover plate on the old stack inlet, typical for this old house. What do I have to do inside the house, and up the chimmey, also can i reduse 8" to 6" to fit inside existion chimmey?
