What is the milford ct building code for setback on residential property

on already existing residential house that you want to put an addition on.

Setbacks are not simple things to answer.
A lot depends on various factors like if the property is commercial or residential, if the property is located near high tension lines, if it has a fire protection system in or near it including fire hydrants.
What's more is that building codes change frequently and are a commodity sold in a book form with regular updates. Therefor, no one is going to allow anyone to post them publicly on the Internet so a search will not work.

Your best answer to this question is to call Thomas P. Raucci Jr. (see link below), the Building Official for the Milford area.
This guy is a virtual wealth of information and can tell you anything and everything you need to know.
Most of the people on this system will only give you their opinion anyway.
