Child support modification

My boyfriend pays child support for 3 different children. We currently live together and just had a baby of our own. He supports the baby and me. Should his support agreement go down since has has to now provide support for "his own child?"

That would be for the courts to decide as it would require a decreased amount of child support that he would then be owing his other 3 children.

It depends on what state that you reside in. In WA state that can factor in...but in another state they could only count the first child and not decrease for any other children just because he decided to have more....check out your states laws regarding support.

Well it can but the court does not look at just the fathers incom if you had a baby. They will consider that you as a mother of this knew baby can work. They won't just asume anything,he would have to file for a modification of the orignal order, but unless he is paying an unreasoniable amount I don't believe that his having a baby is going to change anything.
