If your child goes to college, you will still need to pay child support throughout college.

if he/she doesn't go to college then you are done.

She is going to attend college in the fall, but she has earned a scholarship and so it is all paid for. My ex say's because she is receiving medicaid that I will still have to pay child support. If that's the case then I could just put her on my insurance. If she decides to stop liveing with her mother then will I have to continue to pay? We all live in the state of NM,

But she is still in college. I don't think you'll get off because she has a full ride.

the only way you will stop paying is when she graduates, maybe turns 21 or drops out.

otherwise you could try and go and get the child support changed

Child support is paid until the child reaches the age of 18,unless it is stipulated other wise in the court order.
