Ex wife wants more child support and I can't afford it

I have 2 younger children in my current relationship. We are in escrow to buy our first home. It closes escrow in 3 weeks. I just received notice in the mail that my ex-wife/state of CA has requested updated income info from my employer...for more child support.

If I have to pay much more than I am paying now...I wont be able to afford my new mortgage amount and our household expenses, including daycare.

Would the judge do that? How does that work? I am wondering if I should back out of the house purchase...just in case. We figured every way to afford a house...and it is already barely possible, without the increase in child support. Is this taken into account by the judge?

Yes he will look at what expense all parties have and make a order, that way , he will also look at the 2 childern you have in your current relationship. also, and bring it to court that you are trying to buy a home , or have bought a home to try to take care, of the childern you have with you now, and he will look at this, also, as far as knowing what a judge will do , your guess is as good as mine ,
