If both parties agree that no child support is needed, does it still have to be paid?

If two people are getting a divorce in California and a minor child is involved. Will either party be required to pay child support by the state if both parties have already agreed that it is not needed?

If there is no child support inforce though the court now and you and the father both agree that neither one of you pay child support and you have this in writing and file it though the court the judge will allow it,you might want to also no if you do this neither one of you can have that order modified within a two year period from the date the court orders the non support order.
