My daughter is 15 and pregnant

Hi,my daughter is 15 and a little over 12 weeks pregnant,i was wondering ,do i still pay child support for her when shes having a baby?dont get me wrong,i love her very much and will still help her and my granchild but i need to know if i still have to be obligated to child support.i lost all my papres due to a fire in 2003 but i think i've read that if your child becomes 18,marries,drop out of school,or pregnant, that these things will forfeit the child support obligation, thank you very much for your time,oh by the way if it helps she lives in maryland.

You need to get a copy of your divorce paperwork, as each case is different. Just go to the court and they can give you a copy in about 5 minutes. I know in my paperwork it says until my children are 18, but like I said, each divorce is different.

I concur, every divorce situation is different when it comes to child support. you need to get ahold of your original papers and see what it says. if there is no stipulation in their about her getting pregnant or dropping out of school, you would continue to pay child support till she was 18.

Yes you do have to pay child support until your daughter turns the age of 18. Children do get in trouble but the parents are still held responiable.
