What if parent does not want child support

I am having a NC divorce in middle of Feb. My x is military and ready to leave for Iraq again for 2 years. Is it true that NC divorce and child custody laws are seperate ? If so, if no court action is done for custody and support and I do not want any support does it just slide by?

If neither you or your spounce files for divorce and child support then he or she would not have to pay. Child support has to be filed with the court. If you are getting a non-contested divorce then you both would need to download the forms from the internet under legal forms and then click on your state. You both can feeel the forms and state what you each agree on including custody and child support as long as this is an uncontested divorce the judge will grant your wishes.
