To file for custody you can go to your county clerk for the proper paperwork. A judge wants both parents to be involved, but if you believe that his house is an unsafe environment for your children, then voice your concerns to the judge. Document anything that can provide proof for your accusations and perhaps you can ask for supervised visitation.

I asked my husband for a divorce about a week ago, and our youngest daughter has leukemia and we transferred to warren to be closer for treatment. My question really is, how do i go about my divorce and custody of my other children? He has a record!! And im not comfortable leaving the other children there without me. Im stressed!!!
