No divorce just went though family court and it does not say anything abou it

You should file an application with the court to grant your mother temporary custody. The court determines whether the grandmother can become a temporary custodian. The father will be notified, but it's probably going to be the courts decision. If you think the father might fight this, it might be a good idea to try and convince him why this is good for the child.
