Custody of a 13 year old child in Kentucky

I have a 13 year old daughter and I have joint custody. She lives with her mother right now. I was told that in Kentucky, a child has the right to chose the parent they live with when they are 11 years old.

Usually around 12 or 13 a judge will consider a child's request, but the judge considers other factors also. Each judge will rule differently, so it's hard to say how much emphasis a judge will place on the child's request.
