Probably not, you have a good case to keep them. But you will need to prove it in court. So you may need to get a lawyer or something to prove what you said and establish yourself as the sole legal custody parent.

Cutody of my kids we live in columbus ohio
My husband left 11/07. now says he is filing for a divorce. he was cheating on me for a week before he left. now his girlfriend says they are taking custody of my kids... but will the courts actually give him custody? he has been arrested 2 for abusing me and once for abusing his ex... will he be able to get custody with his violent past? and will they give him custody even though he has not seen his kids since 11/1/07? he walked out and never called or came back.
