Do grandparents have visitation rights for 2 grandkids in foster care in (nc)

We have guardianship of 1 grandaughter. There are 2 in foster care (going up for adoption) do we and my grand-daughter have any visitation rights. We had one of the boys but, could not afford to keep him but, we did have a
bond with him. Dss says we cant see them because the parents cant but,we did nothing wrong except love him.
Grandparents do not get treated right. They will pay foster care to someone they dont know but, will not pay
grandparents. Why is that right. Why cant my grand-daughter see her brother & sister. (nc) i will never
understand (they will never know the truth till they are
18. We love them and want visitation.(dss promotes family
i thought)
thank you

If your grandchildren are in froster care and being put up for adoption then you cannot see them. It is to protect the adopted parents rights. It is nothing personel against you the grandparents. As for getting help for the grandchild you are raising you can apply to the social services for your granddaughter ,you can apply as a care giver and they do not deem your income. you can also apply for medical, for food stamps they would deem all incom in the house. Is there a reason why you could not get the other two children and apply to get help from the state. I know it is hard but that would be the only way you might be able to keep them together. If it is due to health that is understandiable. I am sorry that the system works against you and not for you.
